Come and enjoy some underground exploring and photography.
Wear some old clothes and boots and bring your lunch and a drink.
You will also need 2 forms of lighting and preferably a hard hat.
Meet at the Information Centre, Otaika Road for transport sharing at 11am, or go directly to the Caves.

New Nature Definition from PSNZ

The Photographic Society of America, the Federation Internationale de I'Art Photographique and The Royal Photographic Society will all use the same definition for nature and wildlife categories for their respective competitions and exhibitions. The new definition will come into effect from 1 January 2015 and will apply to exhibitions closing on or after that date.


Final Fling

Well, the weather has changed, so - see you there.
The weather is not being helpful, so probably best to cancel.
The Hermans will be having dinner at Reva's regardless, if anyone would like to join us.


Limestone Island

Limestone Island trip - Sunday November 9th.
Depart - 10am - from Onerahi Wharf, along from Yacht Club.
Return - 2.00pm.  Cost $5.00 per person.
Bring - lunch and drink - gear for whatever weather.

General Comments for NZ Landscape & Faceless Portrait

NZ Landscape - Shelly Linehan

Landscapes are anything from straight colour or black and white images through to heavily manipulated images; they can be from the natural world or the urban environment.

 I don't believe we should limit a photograph based on how the landscape photograph was created, rather on what has been created - is it a good image or not?

For the July Workshop, we divided into three groups, each deciding on an Emotion, then we set it up and photographed it.
