Mostly White. Salon. MERIT. I can feel the soft light in these flowers.
In my view i would like to see the image cropped on the left just short of the stamen and again from the top down to the v where the green is. The middle flower has the top petal not showing so in my opinion the crop would draw you more to the flower that is in focus.
I think that lowering the shadows and lifting the highlights just a tad could make these lovely flowers stand out just a little more.

HiRise Carpark Facade. Salon. MERIT I do like the angles, lines and shapes in this facade you have chosen.
The sign at the bottom draws my eye and, in my case, feel this is not needed in the scene.
This image has a strong high key element and does fill the White description.

3 Flowers Reflecting. Salon. HONOURS. I am immediately drawn into this image and the execution of it.
The black background allows for the flowers to stand out. They are nice and sharp even in their reflections.

Louis. Salon. HIGHLYCOMMENDED. Louis is such a cute we fellow. In my view if he was to have some eye contact with the photographer there would be a stronger connection to the image. The focus is lost in the nose and mouth.
The ear has strong focus and that is where i keep looking.

-
White Rose Swan. Salon. HIGHLY COMMENDED. l like the thought you have come up with for your white choice.
In my case I would have cropped the top and bottom as those areas are a negative space. The photo is sharp throughout showing good detail.
-
-
Romantic Candlelight Setting. Salon. HIGHLY COMMENDED The candle is inviting me into Romantic scene. In my view the beads don’t add to the story and could be stronger without them.
The black background and the portrait choice work well.
-
-
Feather Pillow. Salon. MERIT. I think the positioning of the feathers in the image are laid out on a good angle. For my eye the top left corner is too dark, did you consider lightning that area.
In my case i would have liked to see more of the feather in focus.
The image does give a feeling of tranquillity.
-
-
Grandiflora. Salon. HIGHLY COMMENDED. I am immediately attracted to the centre of your flower. In my case i would like to see a tiny crop at the top.
I do like the sides and bottom crop and the position of your flower.
Image is nicely focused and the petal edges clearly defined.

-
Pearly White. Salon. HONOURS I enjoy the story you have created here with the pearls and the oyster shell.
I think the nice soft focus of the subject makes this image feel surreal. The background has a nice gentle blur, and with the small frame border helps to keep you engaged with the image.
-
-
White Queen. Salon. HONOURS The White Queen is inviting me into this scene of the chess board.
The Queen has nice sharp focus while the rest of the board has a soft-focus look. The board is nicely placed which enables your eye to follow through the image.

Making a Splash. Novice. HONOURS The splash is really inviting me into this image scene.
In my case for this competition i would like to see the image cropped on the sides and up to just below the bottom of the jug.
This would help keep the focus on the most interesting part of your image.
I think this is a stunning image and i am happy to award you an Honours.

-
Droplet. Novice. HIGHLY COMMENDED In my view you have picked a great subject idea for this competition. Looking around the image there are a number of what we refer to as dust bunny spots, plus at the top right a line in the image, I suggest you clone these out.
I am invited into the image by the nice clean Droplet. I like the way the ripple fills the frame.

Royal Spoonbill Kotuku Ngutupapa. Salon. MERIT This image make me think of all the times I’m out trying to find Spoonbills.
For me, to keep my eye drawn to the bird i would suggest you have a tighter crop.
The Spoonbill is nice and sharp and shows good feather detail.

-
Jacobs Ladder. Salon. HONOURS This image brings back my memory of visiting this sculptor farm.
With the clear blue sky your white subject really stands out.
The sculptor is nicely placed with in the frame.
The image is nice and sharp.

-
White Autumn. Intermediate. MERIT This image makes me feel fungi season is on the way.
In my view there is detail in the fungi not quite showing up. I suggest you try to lift the highlights and lower the mid tones a little to bring out some of the detail not seen here.
i feel you have cropped your image well to focus on the subject.

-
SALTy. Intermediate. HONOURS I am Immediately thinking wow.
I can Appreciate the time you have put in to creating your image. You have the image filling the frame nicely.
I think this is a standout image.

-
Teapot Available. Salon. MERIT I appreciate the selection of your white jug for this competition.
The change between the fore ground and the background with the line across is a slight distraction.
May be getting on a lower position to replace where the line is could have made it less noticeable. The focus point is strong on the handle and not the jug.
I do like the crinkled cloth the jug is sitting on.

Buy Shiraz. Salon. NOT ACCEPTED. I am liking the story and the composition for this image. In my View the subject in this photo is not white as the competition description was set out.
In this case i am not accepting the photo, so you are able to enter it again in another competition.

Young Goat. Salon. HONOURS A stunning portrait of this young goat. The face is beautifully sharp, and the direct gaze creates an immediate connection with the viewer. The curly fleece is rendered with excellent detail, and the centred composition suits the subject perfectly. Depth of field is well handled, with the face, ears, and horns in crisp focus while the surrounding wool softens gently into the background. The balance and symmetry are spot on, and the subtle white vignette enhances the presentation without distraction. A delightful and very well executed animal portrait.

-
Young Pup. Salon. HIGHLY COMMENDED A very sweet portrait of a young pup, captured in a calm and appealing pose. The clean background works well to keep the focus firmly on the dog. The face is engaging, though the fur detail is a little soft overall and the nose lacks the crisp definition that would give the image more impact. Eye contact would also strengthen the connection, so it’s a slight pity the pup isn’t looking toward the camera. The composition is generally effective, with the pup well placed on the third. A lower shooting angle or a touch more sharpness could help elevate the portrait further. A tighter crop on the right and bottom would also allow the pup to lean more confidently into the frame. Overall, a charming image

Above the Bridge. Intermediate. MERIT I am immediately drawn to the lines and triangle shapes in this photo.
In my case i would have liked to see a bit more of the canopy, as i find i am looking more at the sky.
I would suggest a lift in the Shadows so the white stands out just a little more.
The crop is good and the image is nice and sharp

-
Rain Lilies Zephyranthes Candida. Salon. HIGHLY COMMENDED I do like the Landscape format for this lovely cluster of Rain Lillies.
The image has nice light and the whites are handled well.
I am finding i have no one place to settle my eye except for the empty space where no flower are.
A nice sharp focus throughout the image.

-
Reaching for the Sky. Salon. MERIT This strong large Sculpture makes me feel rather small, the person standing next to it confirms how large it is. in this case the white sky has made your image take on a cream look.
I like the portrait crop as this is allowing my eye to follow the entire length.
-
-
Open Wide. Salon. HIGHLY COMMENDED I enjoy this image and the title is most suitable.
The small patch of blue sky is a little distracting drawing my eye away from the bird and could be easily cloned over.
You have great feather detail, and the Parrots eye looks as though it is eyeing you. Image is cropped well.

-
Sleepy Whiteness. Salon. Accepted. Sleepy Whiteness is making me fell i would like to snuggle up.
In my view the highlights in this image need lifting to bring out some of the fur details. i would have liked to see i bit of contact from the dog with the photographer.
i am liking the crop you have given this image.
-
-
Hibernating. Salon. ACCEPTED. I think the landscape crop to show, the bales works well for this image.
For me the overall pink shading does not complement the photo. I suggest adjusting the Midtones will help give the snow on the bales some details and texture. The snow-covered hay bales give a real wintry effect.
-
-
Shades of White. Salon. ACCEPTED. I am thinking what a lovely flower you have here. In my view with it placed on a strong white plate it has made your image look quite cream instead of white.
The flower is nice and sharp and i am liking that i can see all the flower edges.
-
-
Mr Parsnip. Salon. ACCEPTED. Mr Parsnips smile make me smile, how can you not love him.
The good portrait crop has been a good choice for this Photo. In My case i would like to see the background with a slight blur. To get a higher mark try to do something to make the image your own
This image does fill the white content of this competition.

-
Bleached. Intermediate. HIGHLY COMMENDED. My initial thought here is what animal does this belong to.
The mono choice has worked well. There is a nice crop keeping my eye on your chosen subject. I think this is an interesting image that is keeping me engaged.

-
Orchid. Phalaenopsis. Salon. HIGHLY COMMENDED. I am liking the composition of the Orchid, with the curve arching around.
There is some blow out in the whites of the top flowers.
I suggest you may like to try and isolate this area and lower the shadows here.
I think the darkening of the image edges have helped make your white Orchids stand out.
