Welcome to Whangarei Camera Club

The Whangarei Camera Club encourages hobby and professional photographers to hone their creativity and photography skills through regular local and national competitions, projects, self-assignments and workshops. New members are always most welcome.

What's happening next

Next meeting is on Thursday 21st September 2017 at St. John Ambulance Station.

Bring you camera and tripod - you are in for a magical evening!

On Saturday 16th September, the Library in Whangarei sill be a great place to spend a couple of hours. Our Club is holding an Art Laundry Line - details on Facebook - but there will also be a heap of other activities happening for their Big Day In.

The Altered Image Challenge has been extended to 21st September - Have you had a go with this yet?

Congratulations to those who gained Honours for the last competitions. Well done.

When and where do we meet?

On the first and third Thursdays of each month.
Start time - 7.30pm.       At St. John Ambulance Station, Western Hills Drive, Whangarei - past where the helicopters land - in Classroom 1.
