An absolutely magical time on the volcanic island proved to be a photographer's dream.

An excellent turnout, with over 20 people travelling to Hamilton under the Whangarei Camera Club banner for this event.  Seems as though a great time was had by all & if everyone took over 370 images that weekend (as I did) the pics will be many & varied.

A lovely afternoon spent at Batley included the chance to photograph Batley house up close, and hear the history from Rae Roadly who has written a book about its history and her introduction to it and her future husband Rex.

A walk around the beach provided more opportunies to savour...

Ten camera happy people enjoyed a great weekend in Hamilton on 2-3 April for the annual Balloons over Waikato festival (6 from our Club, 2 from Mid North plus a couple of ring-ins)....

Club Members from Whangarei, Dargaville and Keri Keri plus a few extras, were treated to beautiful weather on their recent trip to Ruapehu. (End of October).
